NASA/GSFC plans to issue Request for Quotation RFQ5-79426-905 on a sole source basis for the following products: Qty. 1: Rackmount PTP Base System with Windows NT software and PTP-NT software, part no. ptpnt-1008 Qty. 1: Apogee ISA-STG2 time code processor, part no. ptp-8020 Qty. 1: PTP Rackmount Peripheral Kit 15" Monitor, keyboard, and mouse, part no. ptp-9002 Qty. 1: Year 2000 compliancy documentation (you must be able to provide this documentation to bid on this rfq) This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Avtech Systems on a sole source basis as they are the only known distributor of these products. The authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 22.
