This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DABT19-98-B-0011 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. This is a small business et aside acquisition. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is F101. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government contemplates awarding a firm fixed unit price contract. Multiple awards may be made as a result of this solicitation. The contract period shall commence within 10 days of contract date with a total of 76 completion days -- all dates inclusive unless sooner terminated under the terms of the contract. Line Item 0002 -- Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for renovation (phase two) of Bldg. 225, Truesdell hall, Grant Avenue, Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Line Item 0003 -- Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove asbestos from bldg. 404, Hancock Avenue, Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Line Item 0004 -- Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove asbestos from bldg. 402, Hancock Avenue, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
