The VA Medical Center's within the VISN20 area (Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Alaska) is requiring assistance in standardizing paper (non-office) and plastic products (non-medical) within the VISN 20 buying group. Services shall consist of the warehousing and minimum weekly deliveries of items that are requried in the support of the Medical Centers. Items are those that would be typically required in support of a general medical facility. Reduction of costs and the minimizing of warehouse space is paramount in providing these products. Term of this contract is for one year with an option for an additional two years. Term is not to exceed three years in length from the date of award. Quotes must be returned by July 27, 1998 and proposals shall be provided demonstrating the ability and past performance of providing these types of supplies as well as managerial support in moving toward standardization and familiarity with community standards isconsidered advantageous. All costs associated with providing support services shall be reflected in the price of products being provided and no additional costs shall be allocated or reimbursed by the VA.
