Pope AFB is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to repair and add to the Arm/Dearm Pad at the 05 end of runway. The work consists of removing and replacing approximately 9100 LF of damaged joint sealant and adding 17.5 inch thick 650 PSI flex concrete section to arm/dearm pad at 05 end of runway. Work includes providing required taxiway lighting and area lighting and including all necessary conduits and wiring. The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supplies, and performing all operations to construct arm/dearm pads, access taxiway, and taxiway lighting. Work includes but is not limited to pavement demolition and removal; grading; aggregate base course; new concrete pavement; new asphalt pavement; pavement patching and marking; electrical; and joint sealing. The estimated time of construction is 120 days. The estimated construction cost is $514,300.
