Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) seeks sources to provide test
management and test reporting software for heavy duty engine testing at
EPA's National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory. The test
management software shall operate on a VX-In 2.1 test cell control
system provided by MTS-PowerTek, Inc. The test management software
shall be fully integrated and compatable with the VX-In 2.1 system. The
test management software is a "command set" of instructions necessary
to conduct standard types of engine testing sequences. The test
reporting software will operate on a separate Pentium / Windows NT 4.0
system and will provide post test data processing of emission test
results, analysis of the engine's load cycle performance, and quality
control reporting. The software package will be used for regulatory
compliance and development exhaust emission testing on large
compression ignition and spark ignition engines. The test procedures
this software must support are the EPA heavy duty transienttest, the
EPA MAP test, the EPA and ISO steady state tests, and the EPA and ISO
