You are notified that the following changes are made: 1. The title of the synopsis is changed to read: UltraSPARC-IIi 300 MHz VME Processor Board. 2. An Alternate Point of Contact is given as David D. Reeves. NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for UltraSPARC-IIi VME Processor Boards. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Force Computers, Inc., 2 Centerview Drive, Suite 54, Greensboro, NC 27407. Force Computers, Inc., is the only known source that can provide the item in question. Interested firms have one (1) day from the publication of this modification to the synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the one (1) day or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
