Originally published 07 May 98, first modified 20 May 98 and second
modified 10 June 98.Original Synopsis (1) Change from "one base year
plus four option years" to five-year ordering period"; (2) Change from
"Contract maximum value is $21,000,000 and $7,000,000 for a small
business set-aside" to "The total program value approximates
$49,000,000 for all three (or two, see third modification synopsis)
awards, two under full and open competition, and one under small
business set-aside ". First modification synopsis: (1) Change from "The
contract value for each of the two awards, under full and open
competition, is $21,000,000" to "The total program value approximates
$49,000,000 for all three (or two, see third modification synopsis)
awards, two under full and open competition, and one under small
business set-aside"; (2) Change from "After this technical competition,
the three highest, technically ranked firms (including at least one
small business) will be issued RFPs (basic and first task order)" to
"After this technical competition, the three highest, technically
ranked firms (may include one small business) will be issued RFPs
(basic and first task order)"; (3) Change from "If one of the three

orders, the government may require price competition for task orders
