F -- HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL SOL DAKF29-98-B-0039 DUE 081398 POC Contract Specialist Rebecca Fowler (609) 562-3251 (Site Code DAKF29) Contractor shall provide all services necessary for the identification, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with all applicable local, state, and Federal laws and regulations, including, but not limited to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Contractor shall own and operate the permitted Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) to which items are transported. Services shall include all necessary personnel, labor, transportation, packaging, detailed analysis (where required for disposal), equipment and reports in addition to proper disposal. Contractor shall be a permitted transporter for hazardous and solid waste. Contractor shall take samples and test any unknown items to characterize and profile for each waste stream. Period of performance is 1 October 1998 or date of award if subsequent thereto through 30 September 1999 with two one year option periods. Contractor must possess the following permits and certifications: NJDEP certification for all laboratory facilities used for testing (or interim authorization from NJDEP); permits for the treatment, storage and disposal facility that is owned and will be utilized; permits for hazardous waste handling; NJDEP permits for transportation of hazardous waste within the borders of New Jersey as well as all hazardous waste transportation permits required by all other states through which Contractor intends to transport hazardous waste.
