Estimated Cost: $15,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. The facility consists of 5 interconnected one-story buildings with 50,400 gross square meters. This procurement is issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and open to Small and Large Business Concerns. The subject procurement will be solicited in Two Parts. Part one will require offerors to submit data regarding technical qualifications. All offerors meeting the technical qualifications in Part One will be allowed to go forward into Part Two and submit lump sum price proposals. A non-refundable charge of $75.00 will be required in order for offerors to obtain Part Two. Only a certified check or money order will be accepted. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held on Tuesday August 4, 1998 at 10:00 A.M., at the IRS Customer Service Center, 1040 Waverly Avenue, Holtsville, New York. The intent of this pre-proposal conference is to introduce the basic scope requirements and to provide a tour of the facility. An Industry Conference will be conducted after the tour and the purpose of the Industry Conference is to have General Contractors meet with Small, Small Disadvantaged, and Small Women-Owned Business Concerns (potential subcontractors) to establish a framework of communication and discuss possible subcontracting opportunities. Members of the Construction Industry and potential support contractors are strongly encouraged to attend this conference.
