from Sta. 0+600 to Sta. 20+487: Dredging of the 33 foot project will be
required at a depth of 33' Schuylkill River datum plus 1foot allowable
overdepth limited by a vertical plane through the 33' contour, with no
side or end slopes delineated and/or paid for along both channel edges
(box cut). Maintenane dredging from Sta. 20+487 to Sta. 22+665:
Dredging of the 26 foot project will be required to a depth of 26'
Schuylkill River datum plus 1 foot allowable overdepth limited by a
vertical plane through the 26' contour, with no side or end slopes
delineated and/or paid for along both channel edges (box cut). Contract
solicitation documents will be provided on CD-ROM only. One CD-ROM will
be provided upon written request. Bidders will be responsible for paper
copies. Issue date for solicitation documents will be on or about 13
July 1998 with a bid opening date of 12 August 1998 at 11:00 a.m.
Additional copies of the CD-ROM will be provided at a charge of $5.00
each. All requests for additional copies of the CD-ROM should be in
writing along with a company check which must include your Federal Tax
Identification Number, or a Personal Check with Social Security Number
or a Driver's License or Money Order, all made payable to "FAO, USAED,
NORFOLK". Payment will not be refunded and CD's need not be returned.

mnumber. Completion time for the project is 120 calendar days.
Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.
All contractrors must be registered in the Central Contractor
Registration Database prior to award of the contract. Instructions will
be provided in the solicitation. Award of contract will be made as a
whole to one bidder. Liquidated damages will be specified. Affirmative
action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the
resulting contract. This acquisition is unrestricted. The applicable
SIC Code for the job is 1629 with a size standard of $13.5 million
