E-MAIL: Jerome G. Misch, jerry.misch@ssc.nasa.gov. NASA/SSC intends to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for a 20-Ton Monorail Hoist for the A-1 Test Stand at the Stennis Space Center. The work to be provided under this project consists of providing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to dismantle existing 10-ton monorail hoist, provide and install a new 20-ton monorail hoist on the existing monorail to include all associated electrical and mechanical work. All work shall be completed within 200 days in accordance with Specification 200GD-G006 and applicable Drawings. The solicitation will be released via the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). Hard Copies of the Solicitation, Specification and Drawings will be provided to those firms requesting a copy. Transmission of requests to either telefax 228/688-1852 or E-mail to jerry.misch@ssc.nasa.gov. It shall be the responsibility of each offeror to monitor NAIS for solicitation releases as the solicitaion will be released as soon as practicable whether prior to or subsequent to July 10, 1998.This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The SIC Code is 1629 with a Size Standard of $17M. The Government's estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. An ombudsman has been appointed. See Note B.
