This project provides for the revitalization of 80,000 square feet vehicle maintenance facility, including the consolidation of the vehicle operations function Thule Air Base, Greenland. The project includes asbestos abatement, repair of heating and ventilation systems, repair of exhaust systems, electrical, plumbing, automatic garage door systems, and improvement of lighting systems. In addition, shop and office areas will be improved. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude: $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The anticipated performance period is between 01 June 1999 through 01 October 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation which shall be considered. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short and shipment of materials can only take place in June/July.
