The work to be performed under this contract consists of providing all labor, equipment and materials necessary for the demolition of existing propulsion test area systems; providing and installing cryogenic piping, including ultra high pressure gas piping (15,000 psia), installing structural steel, thrust measurement systems, hydraulic piping, high pressure industrial water systems, and tubing. The contractor will also be required to procure, clean, and install mechanical components such as control valves, check valves, flow meters, vacuum systems, hand valves, etc. In addition, the contractor will be responsible for lifting, moving, and installing tanks and vessels, which requires heavy lift capability. Also included will be high and low voltage electrical distribution procurement and installation. A Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated for a period of four (4) years with an estimated value of $10,000,000.00. Individual Delivery Orders will be negotiated with the successful contractor for each effort under the contract. SIC Code is 1629 with a size standard of $17M. The complete solicitation will be released via the NASA Acquisition Internet Services (NAIS). It is the responsibility of each offeror to monitor NAIS for solicitation releases as the solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to July 13, 1998.
