The USDA Forest Products Laboratory, Madison, Wisconsin is soliciting quotes for a construction project consisting of the application of a polyurethane/silicone roof system for Building 39. The scope of work is to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and transportation as required to apply approximately 5,570-sq. ft. of a polyurethane/silicone roof with granules system in accordance with specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. Contract work to be done on Building 39, USDA Forest Products Laboratory, One Gifford Pinchot Drive, Madison, WI. Evaluation of quotes will be made using simplified acquisition procedures (FAR 13.106-2). Selection will be made from the source, which in the opinion of the government offers the best value to the Government. Price, past performance, experience, warranty, technical support, knowledge of the site, plan for completion and capability of items offered to meet the need for the particular purpose are all criteria that will be consideredin evaluation. Contractor must provide descriptive literature and address these factors when submitting their quotation. Contract time is required within 20 days. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated. Price range is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is not set aside for small business and all responsible sources may submit a quotation. Solicitation package will be available on or about July 20, 1998.
