Z -- REPAIR COMMISSARY, BUILDING 790 SOL F03602-98-R0013 DUE 072798 POC Contact Martin Hauch (501) 987-3849, or Contracting Officer, Loretta Zimmer, (501) 987-3379; Facsimile (501)987-8119 The principle features of work for Project Number NKAK 97-5003 include, but are not limited to: (a) Architectural -- New construction of partition walls, windows, etc. and demolition of existing construction; (b) Electrical -- Demolition of existing construction and replace lighting, power, fire alarm system, telephone conduits, and LAN conduits in the renovated area; (c) Mechanical -- Demolition of existing construction and replacement of ductwork in renovated area. Replacement of three (3) rooftop air conditioning units and provide one additional air handler at the new Deli/Bakery area. Provide for new plumbing where necessary in renovated area; (d) Refrigeration -- Demolition of existing refrigeration systems and provide new cases, condensers, compressors and piping; (e) Final debris removal and clean-up. This is a Firm Fixed type contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The performance period will be 250 calendar days. This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis with small disadvantaged business evaluation preference.
