system with an operating capacity between 36 and 40 tons, including
all controls for automatic solution, new pneumatic fill pipe, all new
miscellaneous mechanical equipment, new electrical wiring and
equipment. Existing underground brine tank system also to be removed
and temporary brine tank provided at the time the existing tank is
removed until new tank is installed, tested and operational. After
removal of existing tank, backfill shall be provided and a new concrete
pad provided. Pour concrete at 8" thickness with reinforced concrete
equipment pad using 5 bag mix. Contractor will use #4 rebar spaced at
the discretion of the resident engineer. Solicitation will not be
issued. This document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect
through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04 and Veterans Affairs
