This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program in FAR Subpart 13.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued!! Solicitation Number DAAC89-98-T-0242 is issued as a Request for Quotation!! This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This is a full and open procurement under SIC 3589, Service Industry Machinery, Not Elsewhere Classified!! Description Baghouse (furnace). All materials and parts comprising the Baghouse shall be new, of current manufacture, and shall not have been in prior service, except as required during factory testing. The seller will guarantee to the Government in writing that the equipment and materials provided, fabricated by seller under the requirements and conditions of these drawing and any subsequent revisions, will be free from defects in material and/or workmanship under ordinary and normal usage and service, for a period of not less than one (1) year. The warranty period will begin on the date of acceptance. Any defects in the material and/or workmanship found within the warranty period will be repaired and/or replaced by the seller at the seller's expense.
