Negotiator, shenbergergr@npt.nuwc.navy.mil. This is an amendment to the
combined synopsis/solicitation published 25 June 1998 in the Commerce
Business Daily. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport
(NUWCDIVNPT) requires the following items: (1) a quantity of 12 each
DEC Alpha AxPvmpe 166 Single Board Computer with 166MHZ Alpha 21066A
CPU that includes a 2 Slot Paddle Board (PN: EBV12-XC) with VxWorks
Run-time license; (2) a quantity of 6 each 16MB Memory Option for DEC
Alpha CCA (PN: EBVXM-BA); and (3) a quantity of 6 each 64MB Memory
Option for DEC Alpha CCA (PN: EBVXM-DA). These units must be exact
duplicates of those in the Enhanced Processing System (EPS) of the
AN/SQQ-89(V)14 Sonar System because compatibility is essential in order
to preserve the integrity of the system. The initial
synopsis/solicitation incorrectly identified the cabinet in which these
units will be housed as the Multi-Sensor Torpedo Recognition and
Alertment Processor (MSTRAP). Only the system in which these units will
be housed was incorrectly identified. Allremaining terms and conditions
remain as stated. Estimated RFP release date: 06/25/98; SIC Code: 3577.
