70 -- IRIS/DEF SOFTWARE DUE 071598 POC Pat Denard, Contract Specialist, 703/607-6904 DISA-NCR proposes to award a commercial acquisition to Systematic Software Engineering, Inc. for IRIS Definition System Multi-user License v.2.1 and IRIS Definition Management Module, which are commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items. This software has been designed for character based message development. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award other than full and open competition and should not be considered and RFP. No solicitation will be issued. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304( c)(1), and is solely at the discretion of the Government.
