The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a sole source procurement utilizing simplified acquisition purchase (SAP) procedures to the Convoy/DM Corporation, 116 Village Blvd., suite 200, Princeton, NJ, 08540-5799 for the purchase of conversion software. Recently, EPA purchased a Human Resources Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software package called PeopleSoft. The PeopleSoft Human Resources Management system (HRMS) co-named, HR Pro will form the core of the Agency's new Human Resources Information System., The HRMS is part of the Administrative Reform Initiative (ARI) mandated by President Clinton to reduce the administrative workload within EPA and provide a single "integrated desktop" that automates functions for the employees at their PC. Convoy is an integrated tool designed to simplify the data conversion process and was selected because they can support the EPA's Office of Human Resources and Organizational Services (OHROS) extraction of data from their legacy system, provide data mapping and perform transformation logic on any field moving from source to PeopleSoft.
