Performance period to commence approximately 12 November 1998 and shall be completed within 41 calendar days thereafter. Ship's transit time to and from the contractor's facility is included in the specified performance period. The requirement consists of 27 basic items plus option items. Basic items include such items as valve overhaul and test; underwater body coating maintenance system; GMDSS DC Power Modifications, Bow Thruster; CP Propeller and tailshaft; window replacement; structural steel repair; and others. Option items will include galley cabinets and center isle modifications; watertight door replacement; HVAC cleaning; and others. Vessel will be made available for inspection on August 19 and 20, 1998 at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, Ma.
