The Library of Congress has a requirement for specialized services to
evaluate the portion of the Library's Website that pertains to the
digitized historical collections. Qualified experts are sought to
design and perform a usability study. The focus of the required
evaluation will be on the American Memory pages including The Learning
Page as well as usability of the assoicated American Memory databases.
This evaluation should include technical considerations addressing
navigability, searchability and contextual information. Offerors shall
describe a minimum of two (2) other efforts performed in the past
three (3) years that demonstrate ability and experience including, but
not limited to design of a usability study of computer software,
especially any World Wide Web-based systems and the execution of the
study. The description must include references, contacts and dates
during which the related work was performed. The contract will be
awarded by Best Value to the Government. To request the Statement of
