RFP 527-33-98 LEICA CD 5000 The DVA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, N.Y. has tested several coverslippers and found the Leica CD 5000 the best one to suit their needs. The Leica is extremely efficient, requires little installation in comparison with other models which require major construction and fume hoods. User friendly chemicals can be used with the Leica as compared to hazardous carcinogens that were required by other systems. Firms able to furnish the required equipment with installation based upon the criteria specified are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this announcement by July 13, 1998.
