COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JULY 1,1998 PSA#2128SYNOPSIS SYNOPSIS Experienced professional needed who can prepare a
varied workforce of 1400 employees (+ or -- 10%) for implementation of
a Multi-Source Performance Feedback System. This includes running two
consecutive pilots, on 20 people each, prior to full implementation
with the rest of the 1400 (+ or- 10%). The professional will provide a
self assessment tool for the employees and give them the results prior
to their obtaining feedback from others. At the same time, they will
train the employees on how to give and receive constructive feedback.
Feedback from peers, internal and external customers and supervisors
will be solicited and the anonymity of all parties shall be assured.
After the feedback is received, the employees will be trained on 1) how
to develop a realistic action plan with time frames 2) how to succeed
in making needed changes, and 3) how to coach others and how to be
coachable. Two months after the action plan is developed, the
professional will follow up with the employees so that they are
successful in pursuing their individual action plans. Evaluation
