The project site is located at Niagara Falls, New York, at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. The project is a new training facility to be located east of the new Base Communications Building, aligning with the south facade. The site is government owned. The site is generally flat with few contours. Available existing utilities at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station include fire protection, water, potable water, gas, sewer, telephone, and power. The Consolidated Training Facility is 919 SM gross area. Specific functional areas which directly support the Readiness Section include classrooms, offices, and storage. Specific functional areas which directly support the Combat Army Section of the facility include a CATM training room, a classroom, a weapons cleaning room, storage, and offices. Building operation spaces include a mechanical room, a communications room and a janitor room. Estimated Cost is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Solicitation will be issued o/a 22 July 1998. There will be no charge for this solicitation package and each request will be limited to one package only. Plans/Specifications are available on CD ROM only.
