Ryan (518) 786-4986 (Site Code DAHA30) The required work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision required to complete this proposed project at the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, New York in strict compliance with plans and specifications provided by the Government. The total scope of proposed construction contract is: 20,800 square feet of new construction, alteration of 6,800 square feet of existing facility, and demolition/removal of 10,863 square foot of existing structure. All facilities are one story The proposed construction contract will consist of 1) a new 15,800 square foot Dining Hall facility, 2) a new 5,000 square foot building addition with 6800 square feet of accompanying building alteration/ renovations for the Communications/Audio Visual Facility, and 3)demolition of the existing 10,863 square foot dining facility. The project also includes but is no limited to, site work, utilities, concrete foundation/floor slabs, masonry exterior wall construction, steel roof joists/trusses metal roof deck, standing seam metal and EPDM roof systems, interior alterations, landscaping, and all vertical construction to provide complete and functional facilities. The construction schedule and all elements of the project will be closely coordinated with 109th AW Civil Engineering Office. The magnitude of this proposed project is between $1,000.000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The work will be bid a lump sum, firm fixed price contract. The anticipated performance time for this project is 365 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. IFB DAHA30-98-B-0011 will be issued on or about 13 July 1998, with a bid opening date on or about 12 Aug, 1998. A pre bid conference will be held at the Stratton Air National Guard Base, 1 ANG Road, Scotia, New York 13302 on 29 July, 1998 at the Base Civil Engineers Office at 09:30. All prospective bidders are recommended to attend. Interested firms may request an IFB package by submitting a written request to the USPFO-NY, 330 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, New York 12210-2224, ATTN: MNPF-PC. IMPORTANT: All requests for IFB packages must be accompanied by a non refundable cashiers check, bank draft or money order in the amount of $100.00 made payable to the Treasury of the United States. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) applicable to this project is 1542. Interested firms must identify, in writing whether they will be bidding the project as prime contractor, subcontractor or supplier and their firms business size (i.e. small, large, women owned or SBA). Funds are presently not available for this acquisition. Contract award WILL NOT be made until appropriated funds are made available for which payment for contract purposes can be made.
