The above cited manufacturer model numbers are known to meet the specifications, and consitute the establishment of a standard of quality, however, they are not considered to be the only product which will meet the specifications. Offerors proposing to supply Manufactorers/Models other than those specified in the notice are required to submit with their proposals specification data sheets of proposed models sufficient to enable the Government to determine their technical acceptability with the specifications stated above. The Government reserves the right to request product samples which can be tested for compatibility. All reasonable sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerers-Commercial Items and 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items and 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of technical capability of the offered items to meet the agency requirements, price and past performance. Technical capability and past performance when combined are equal to price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. Standard commercial warranty is required. Proposals are to be submitted on SF 1449.
