The sum of the installation items along with the headsets and component boxes, option items in the contract, constitutes the installation kits for this vehicle. The acquisition is for MLRS VIS installation kit items, 870 each and an option for up to an additional 500 installation kit items. The equipment is being acquired on a sole source basis from Northrop Grumman Corporation, Rolling Meadows, IL, as a modification under Contract No. DAAB07-92-C-B008.
