Rollins, 02412, (703) 602-0204, Ext. 421 The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for Silver-Zinc battery cells, associated engineering services, battery storage, repair/spare parts, and related data. The solicitation will include a base year (FY 99) requirement for two (2) LOTS and an option year (FY 00) requirement for three (3) LOTS. Deliveries will be required to commence 12 months after award of a contract. Military specifications DOD-B-24505C (DSRV Type), DOD-B-24507B (NR-1 Type), and DOD-B-24531(SH) (Emergency Type) apply. All items are QPL items. The base year (FY 99) quantities are: LOT 1 (DSRV Type) 531 Cells and LOT 2 (NR-1 Type) 166 Cells. The FY 00 option quantities are: LOT 1 (DSRV Type) 531 Cells, LOT 2 (NR-1 Type)166 Cells, and LOT 3 (Emergency Type) 108 Cells. Award will be made by individual LOT.
