This project is a fixed price contract for design/build of an Air Mail Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The site is approximately 5.6 acres in size, near the north end of runway 18 Right on the east side of the taxiway. Site to provide building construction, employee parking, truck maneuvering area at the Mail Platform, trailer and truck parking, and miscellaneous improvements. The facility will be located at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport grounds in Boone County Kentucky. Vehicular access to the site will be from Clay Drive. The Work involves the construction of a new Air Mail Center at location indicated on Drawings. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping, concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fixed mechanization, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning complete and ready for use. The project consists of the design and construction of an approximately 57,000 gross square foot new Air Mail Center. containing administrative offices, workroom space, enclosed platform, support area, and a drive through concourse. Errors and omissions insurance in amount of $500,00 will be required. Technical Qualifications Evaluation is based on a 100-point total (Experience -- 40, Past Performance -- 30, Organization -- 25, and Backlog -- 5), and Management Plan Evaluation is based on a100-point total (Construction -- 30 points, Design -- 25 points, Project Management -- 20 points, Schedule -- 15 points, and Procurement -- 10 points).
