H -- CONDUCT BASELINE INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION SURVEY FOR 21 VENTILATION SYSTEMS SOL daha0298q0108 DUE 081498 POC yvonne burchette (602)302-9121 Conduct baseline industrial ventilation survey for 21 ventilation systems as required by 29 CFR and AFOSH 161-17. Location: 161 ARW, 3200 E. Old Tower Road, Phoenix, AZ. 85034-7263. Individual site locations to be determined. Per Diem and Travel expenses will not be included in award. Vendor is responsible for all costs incurred outside the scope of work. All systems must meet the following criteria: Verify system parameters are within 10% of design criteria; detailed survey plan delivered within 30 days of award. Survey plan must contain minimum components: Diagram of vent system, duct size and sampling locations; Identifications of sampling parameters; Identifications of formulas to be used and references to source literature; Dimensions of all system openings and the associated cross-sectional area of each system opening; Physical location, description, and intended use of the system; Blower design parameters, voltage, amperage, CFM, size, type and flow direction; Identification of the target contaminates for each system; Description of the sampling protocol; the plan will be submitted for approval by 161 BES before the survey is conducted. All systems to be marked for location of measurement. Measurement equipment to be identified by; Company name, Model number, Serial number, Accuracy of equipment, last calibration date, calibration due date, standard used to calibrate instrument, date primary standard due calibration. 161 BES staff will observe the surveys. Contractor must be available to conduct survey within 10 days after notification that vent system is operational. System completion date schedule to be provided at time of award. A full detailed report will be provided to the 161st BES within 10 working days. Report to include: Comparison of actual measurements to design criteria; All formulas used showing calculations and answers for all parameters; Evaluation of system performance and identification if system is less than 90% of design criteria; Identify if system is appropriate or not for intended use.
