Docking Phased Maintenance Availability(DPMA)of USS ROBIN (MHC-54). Contract period is from 25 Sept 98 though 28 Jan 99. Work consists of drydocking, hull, mechanical, electrical, piping, ship alterations and electronic repairs; with the following Controlling Work Items: Sea Chest Modiifications, Through Bolt Modifications, VSP Standby Oil Control Pump, Misalignment and Sound Attenuating Coupling, Flat Panel Monitoring System, HVAC Mods, HVAC Upgrades, Ventilation Supply and Exhaust Systems, Sea Valves, Weight Reduction Modifications, Underwater Hull Preservation and Medical Space Overhead Sheathing. Work to be performed at the Drydock Facilities at Redfish Bay Facilities, in the Ingleside Texas area. Solicitation will be issued on or about 6 July 1998. Sources who currently hold an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) prior to award, may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Firms which do not possess an ABR are ineligible for award unless sufficient time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of its ABR application and to excute the ABR without impacting the vessel's availability dates.
