The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to provide operational support to accomplish the ongoing program objective to enhance or optimize the overall effectiveness, safety and combat readiness of the Atlantic Submarine Force and Submarine Operations. Tasks includes conducting force level analysis, reviewing operational reports, analyzing command and control organizations and conducting independent studies of immediate concerns of COMSUBLANT. The resulting contract will be for a base year period of 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 with four (4) one year options. FAR Clause 52-217-8, "Option to extend Services" is incorporated. The place of performance is COMSUBLANT, Norfolk, VA. This is a follow-on to contract N00189-96-C-0022. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency.
