Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, intends to procure through full and open competition for eight (8) lifeguards to train recruits in water survival. The requirement include providing managerial, supervisory, and other personnel necessary to accomplish the training of recruits in swimming, abandoning ship, and survival at sea skills for the Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL. The contractor shall train recruits in the use of improvisational flotation devices. This requirement will be for a base period beginning 1 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 and one (1) twelve (12) month option. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is contemplated.
