Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Replace Walk-in Cooler, Hospital Kitchen, Eglin AFB FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operation in connection with Replacing Walk-in Cooler, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work consists of replacing the existing walk-in coolers and freezers at the Eglin AFB FL, Hospital Kitchen. The new cooler and freezer sections (cold-storage rooms) shall include a reconfigured floor area layout, all new refrigeration equipment, and all new electrical connections. The cold-storage rooms shall be of the prefabricated panel type and will be self-contained and consist of remote condensing units located on the roof, evaporators located within the rooms, refrigerant and condensate drain piping, and all necessary controls, gauges, and electrical connections. Contract will be for a period of 120 calendar days. Bid open of 28 Aug 98 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and$250,000.
