FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire ALE-47 Programmer Retrofit Kits and spares on a sole source basis for Program Manager Air 272 detachment Jacksonville, FL. The kits and the spares will be acquired from Tracor Aerospace, Inc., of Austin, TX. They are required to fabricate, assemble, test, and provide configuration control of the Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and related labels. The effort also includes packing and kitting of the retrofit kits. A firm fixed-price Basic Ordering Agreement delivery order is anticipated. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. See numbered Note 22.
