This announcement consititutes that only solicitation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). Standard Industrial Classification is 4959. Item number 0001 is for the following: Service, Nonpersonal: Contractor is to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation to load, transport, and dispose of fuel contaminated soil. The soil is stockpiled at two locations on the east side of Shaw Air Force Base, SC. One location has approximately 550 tons and the other has approximately 950 tons. Transportation, remediation, and disposal of soil shall be in accordance with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control regulations.
