NASA intends to award a sole source contract to the Louisiana Research Consortium to furnish basic, applied, and academic research and scientific monitoring support in the areas of accoustics, image analysis, geographic information systems, computational fluid dynamics, polymers/ceramics, electronic microscopy, microelectronics, magneto-hydrodynamics, diagnostic instrumentation and other associated comutational and engineering areas. The contract term will be five years and will provide for research and development efforts in support of NASA and tenant agencies at the SSC. The members of the consortium have intimate knowledge of the SSC programs, existing technology, and the environment within the NASA managed property at SSC.
