The contractor shall assess the effectiveness of the barrier-curtain concept for removal of particulate matter and pathogenic microorganisms from storm runoff. This shall require the contractor to conduct a bench-scale study and a full-scale field demonstration of a prototype device. The bench-scale study and full-scale demonstration need not be conducted at the same site. Sample collection, analysis, and report writing shall be done for all tests conducted under this study. This is a total small business set-aside. The SIC is 8742 with a size standard of $5 million. The RFQ will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13, SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES.
