Summers, Contract Officer (412)892-6834 The Center for Disease Control -- National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has a requirement to provide an evaluation of a NIOSH developed dust dosimeter. The evaluation will compare the new pressure differential based device to gravimetric personal sampling devices in the laboratory and in underground mines. Careful size characterization of the aerosols is required. Recognized expertise in aerosol science, such as a membership in the American Association of Aerosol Science, or equivalent organizations, adequate test facilities, and experience in underground mine sampling is required.
