Army Engineer District, New Orleans has a requirement for the drydocking and repair to the Dredge Wheeler, an all-steel hopper dredge. Hull dimensions are: Length -- 408 ft, breadth molded -- 78 ft, minimum draft aft -- 21.5 ft, registered gross tonnage -- 10,614.47 long tons, and ballast fuel and water -- 600 long tons. A Master Ship Repair Agreement must be in place or executed prior to contract award. Performance period is 30 calender days with bidding limited to shipyards in the United States within 1600 nautical miles of the sea buoy at Southwest Pass, Mississippi River.
