This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis /solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3671, 500 employees. This requirement is for the repair / refurbish of 50 each Cathode Ray Tube Assemblies, part number 8001672-901, NSN 5960-01-171-6161. Honeywell is the original manufacture of the original assemblies. Additional information is required, SOW can be found on the WWW at http://www.crane.navy.mil/. Delivery shall be 8 weeks after receipt of material and shall be at the rate equivalent to 15 per month until repairs are completed. The award will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Quotations are being solicited on a full and open competition bases. Shipping terms will be FOB destination.
