Q -- PROVIDE MAMMOGRAPHY SCREENING SERVICES TO INCLUDE BREAST ULTRASOUND SOL 648-58-98 DUE 080498 POC Mary Cray (P4CONT), 503-273-5375 The Portland VA Medical Center located at 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, Oregon, requires mammography services to include breast ultrasound and radiology interpretations from an American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited facility certified in accordance with the requirements of the Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992 (MQSA), Public Law 102-539 for eligible VA patients. Contractor will provide facility, staffing, equipment, and supplies required. For purposes of this request for proposal, the facility providing the services must be within approximately a 15-mile radius of the Portland VA Medical Center with easy access to and from public transportation. The contract will be for one year with two one-year options to extend the term of the contract. It is expected that contract award will take place the latter part of August with a contract start up date effective September 1, 1998. A commercial item request for proposal will be issued on or about July 6, 1998.
