Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials, etc., to perform an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity technical support service type contract in support of NOAA, Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL). Technical support services to be provided may include, but not necessarily limited to the development of software to collect, process, collate, and quality control data, support graphics and on-line access to data, and develop software for Web access. Task orders will be issued on an as-needed basis for work to be performed at the NOAA West Network facility in Seattle, Washington. Task orders may require scientific research and modeling with oceanographic and meteorological datasets and analysis; technical and scientific writing and editing of publication results; and computer animations, design, development, and implementation of data for WWW programming and access. The period of performance will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) additional one-year option years. The proposed contract listed herein is totally set-aside for 100% Small Business firms. The solicitation will be available on or about July 24, 1998.
