training scheduler support at six (6)geographically separate Luke AFB
Flying Training Units (FTU). The contractor shall schedule all FTU
aircrew training to include academics, training devices and flying
training sorties within the assigned FTU and shall report and
coordinate all training and training changes to and with current 56TRS
and/or other unit schedulers as appropriate and necessary. Training
schedulers shall work normal duty hours, eight (8) hours per day, five
days per week. The training scheduler duty hours, however, shall be
flexible in order to align with the mission of each FTU at the FTU/CC's
discretion. The Government will make its best effort to allow for at
least 48 hours advanced notice to/for changed daily hours to the
training scheduler (including when the possibility exists for any short
notice overtime) to insure accurate, adequate and timely scheduling
coordination. Training schedulers shall reschedule unaccomplished,
failed, and/or no show missions and notify applicable FTU Squadron
Operations Officers when students and/or instructors are no shows or do
not accomplish a mission. Training Schedulers shall become thoroughly
knowledgeable of all aircraft syllabi to insure all prerequisites are
accomplished, the correct aircraft configuration is assigned and insure
the crew(s) for each mission is/are correct with the syllabus. The
anticipated start date for this requirement is 01 Oct 98. Posted
