This project consists of the construction of a 4 inch concrete slab accessible fishing trail -- 5 feet wide by 812 feet long. The trail shall be constructed on 1 foot of compacted aggregate base subgrade. The Canyon Dam Trail is located appproximately 14 miles south of Chester, CA. From Chester travel 2.7 miles west on Highway 36, turn left on Highway 89 and travel 11.3 miles to Canyon Dam Boat Launch. The trail begins at the boat launch area.
