This solicitation is subject to FAR Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment to Clean and Line Water Mains -- Phase I. The work includes the cleaning and cement mortar lining of existing unlined 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch water lines within Phase I limits. Phase I is bounded by Zero Avenue on the north, First Avenue on the south, "O" Street on the east and "H" track on the west. All existing gate valves shall be replace with new valves and designated fire hydrants, pipe sections and fittings shall be replaced. Also included are new water services to selected buildings with pressure reducing valves and meters installed in pits. A temporary by-pass piping system shall be provided. Surfaces damaged by the work shall be restored. Other incidental related work is also included and incidental related work. Estimated price range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
