The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate a contract modification with B. F. Goodrich Company, Engineered Polymer Products, 6061 BFGoodrich Boulevard, Blout Island, Jacksonville, FL 32226. The contract modification will be negotiated pursuant to 10 USC 2304(a)(1). The contract modification will provide one AN/SQS-26/53 Sonar Dome Rubber Dome Window, with options for an additional four AN/SQS-26/53 Sonar Dome Rubber Windows. B. F. Goodrich Company is the only known source which currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment required to satisfactorily perform the work contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
