Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia intends to enter into a contract with
Syncor for Tc-99m Cardiolite. FAR 6.302-1 is referenced as the
authority to enter into subject agreement. Tc-99m Cardiolite is
essential to the clinical mission of this facility for the reasons
listed below. This product allows for gated spect studies and permits
visualization of wall motion and ejection fractions. It also allows for
both perfusion and function information from one injection. The company
providing this product must be able to provide precalibration, unit
doses, and qc, twenty-four hours, seven days per week with delivery
within a few hours when required. This notice is NOT a request for
competitive proposals, however, if an interested party believes they
can meet the above listed essential characteristics, they may submit a
statement of capabilities. Information furnished shall include enough
material, in sufficient detail, to allow a propoer evaluation of the
ability to meet these requirements.Closing date is 15 days after the
