The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire one (1) Navy Lifestyle Educator/Relocation Specialist in support of the Family Service Center (FSC) at the Naval Training Center (NTC) Great Lakes, IL. The Contractor's primary goal shall be to educate new sailors on how to prepare themselves and their families for the lifestyle changes they will encounter as active duty Navy personnel. The Contractor shall brief the sailors on topics such as: returning from overseas, deployment, mobilization, preparing for a smooth household move, single sailors' pre-deployment, foreign born family members, cultural adjustments, single parenting, exceptional family members, settling in workshops, budgeting for PCS moves, and overseas duty workshops. The above services are to be performed on site at the Naval Training Center base facilities. A forty hour work week is required. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated, with a base period of performance running from 01 Oct 98 through 30 Sep 99, with two, one-year options.
